i found out on 7-1 that i was pregnant. on the 14th i started spotting so i went to the drs, they did a sono and showed a 6.5wk old fetus, told me that everything was ok there was no signs of a miscarriage, so i went home and spotted everyday for 2wks. on the 29th i went back to see the dr because my spotting was turning out to appear brighter in color, again they did the sono and i even got to see the baby bouncing around and hear the heart beat and was told that the baby was about 9 weeks and that they couldnt tell were the bleeding was coming from because everything was intact. and that if i was going to be a miscarriage there was only a 5% chance of it. it was about 6 o when i got home that day. i fell asleep about 9 and woke up about 11:30 and start poring clots and that last for about 3hrs then it went back to just being spots here and there. so i know i had a miscarriage, but i am still sick everyday when will it go away.? |

| I would gop back t the doctors because that does not mean you had a miscarriage. Some women have normal periods their entire pregnancy with the heavy bleeding and clots. Has the spotting stopped now and were you in any pain during this time? |

the only pain im having is cramps in my right leg and the bleeding is like a regular period now, the only thing that is really irritating is that i am sick everyday just like i was before all this happened, as a matter of fact when i was bleeding heavy for that short time it was the only time that i didnt feel sick but when i slowed down the nausea started up again.
but yes i am going to talk to my doctor, i was hoping to get some advice from someone who may have been through this.
thanks

Hey shanyc!
Reading ur story reminds me sooo much of what i went through.
I had normal periods when i was pregnant and i too visited the hospital many times and after tests was told everything was fine. This happend a few times before the miscariage was official and it was a surprise to everyone because all the early preg tests showed that everyting was alright. Then after the miscariage i was still as sick as ever. And it went on for a long, long time. My only advice to you is do not wait, and do not accept the first doctors diagnosis that there is nothing wrong. Because although it may be simple, there IS a reason your body is sick and throwing up. And who knows, maybe what you experienced was not a miscariage after all.
Good Luck with the doctor!!!

i know ive had a miscarriage, i have all the signs the cramping, clots, you name it. i think what was happening was that my hormone levels where still high enough to cause me to be sick, finally yesterday and today were the first times that i didnt get sick, i think everything is ok except for the fact that i had to miscarry. i know alot of people may not look at it this way, but if its true that a miscarriage occurs because there is problem with the developing fetus and that is natures way of dealing with it, then i would rather for it to happen earlier then if the baby was to develop and die late in the pregnancy or after birth. believe when i say a miscarriage is hard enough to cope with but its much harder to have a stillborn or lose a child before his first birthday, i have been unfortunate enough to experience it all. thank you all so much for the advice and support and i wish the best of luck to you all'
